Gestion de commande publique | The village of Aubigné-sur Layon in Anjou invited Claudio Parmiggiani to produce a permanent piece of artwork as part of the enhancements being made to the Saint-Denis church square.

The artist designed a piece intended to participate in village life. The Aubigné Fountain (La Fontaine d’Aubigné) is a liturgical and mysterious object in bronze and gold, reminiscent of a luminous celestial globe.
Closed during the year, it opens and displays itself to the public during the Fête du Patrimoine (Heritage Festival) or big events linked to community life. And from the Aubigné Fountain - a genuinely alchemical fountain - then runs the precious Layon wine.
The Aubigné Fountain had support from the Minister of Culture, the General Council of Maine-et-Loire, the Regional Council of the Pays de Loire, and Diluvial, the fountain consulting company.
