Aesthetics of Networks

Contemporary Art | The exhibition « Multiversités créatives » organized by the Centre Pompidou Industrial Planning Department allows us to see, think and perceive things differently. The 15 projects on show, at the intersection of architecture, design, new technologies and social innovation, fall within the portmanteau-word multi + diversité, a visionary concept belonging to the philosopher and sociologist Edgar Morin, « Multiversité Monde Réel ». Creative algorhythms, morphogenetic processes, living organisms and the catography of the flows of influence (Antonin Rohmer) outline the movement of a new imaginary world specific to the global world and to its infinite complexity, interdependence, sharing of knowledge, multiplication of learning. A new 3D mythology by Neri Oxman, inspired by the universe of the Argentinian poet J.L. Borges, a marine aggregation phenomenon for Andrew Kudless/matsy mutant forms. A world in metamorphosis, a permanent present, exponential networks : a new imaginary world in the flow of complex thought.
