Art Market | On 24th September 2012, the French collector Marcel Brient put on sale a part of his collection at Sothebys Paris, a sale constructed around the lisibility of great historic French movements, New Realism, Support Surface and BMPT, woven together by an ensemble of well-known and less well-known artists on the current international market. The 78 lots (4 restored) went for 5.120.975 EUROS. In the Top 5, Simon Hantaï (720.750 EUROS), Joan Mitchell (432.750 EUROS), Marcial Raysse (216.750 EUROS), Yan Pei-Ming (192.750 EUROS), Raymond Hains Tôles > (180.750 EUROS).
