The Art Basel Hong Kong brand

Art Market | As it enters its second year, ART Basel Hong Kong is seen as a successful brand and is consolidating its position as an international fair and a market hub between the west and Asia, bringing together the biggest « label » galleries : White Cube, Gagosian, Perrotin, etc. The fair symbolises the attraction for partner luxury goods brands (Ruinart, Davidoff, Audemars Piguet), new collectors with very high purchasing power and celebrities and pop stars (Kate Moss, Gigi Leung, etc.). Against a backdrop of intense competition, influential galleries and artists are jostling with one another in this sector of the global art market, which is resembling a battle of the brands.
