Martial Raysse: manifest at the Venice Biennale
Art Market | The number one market place position of Martial Raysse, considered the most expensive living French artist for his first period (60-68), is the object of a strategic repositioning with two upcoming retrospectives, at the Centre Pompidou in 2014 and, in may 2015, at the Palazzo Grassi during the crucial Venice Biennale period.
With dealer Kammel Menour in the wings, the two exhibitions highlight his 2nd period, dealing with history painting and breaking with New Realism.
